The Ministry of Education in the State of Kuwait seeks to develop the fundamental language skills of primary school students and instill a love for the Arabic language in their hearts, as a core foundation of national identity and Islamic culture. This is achieved by enhancing students’ linguistic abilities in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The goal is to strengthen pride in the Arabic language, promote effective communication, and prepare students to use it fluently and accurately in academic, social, and cultural contexts—within a stimulating learning environment that fosters communication, expression, and understanding, and supports the development of their national and religious identity, thereby preparing them for success in future stages of education.
